Hi,

reset the camtronics board for 2 A and rewired the 8-wire stepper 1/2
coil mode. The result of my little adventure: (dos from floppy)

. 1/2 coil full coil
Master5 25 ipm 16
DeskNC 43 22
TurboCNC 45 15

The motor was hardly warm even at 2A setting. When a 8-wire stepper
is given as 2A 2.4 ohm (meaning 5V?) would this be the rating for
parallel connection? Would this mean that if one only connect 1/2
coil one could use it for a high amperage? Wonder if it is really 2A.
Could it be 4A rating I wonder? How do one test for this? (no ratings
on the motor)

Tempted to connect to the Gecko and try for 4A 1/2 coil.

Feedback please and thank you very much
