Pushing the amperage will not increase the maximum speeds. That is
mostly controlled by inductance and voltage if you remove the controller
issues from the mix. Too high an amperage can lead to the magic smoke
coming out of the motor or the drive. All increasing the amperage will
do is give you more low speed torque which you likely do not need.
