Actually, the y-axis does have this flange location. There's a cover
plate over it, but it's the same spot as the manual bridgeports. I
doubt if the x-axis is going to be straightforward.

I think your right. Since the shop is only 16x20, the noise factor
could be pretty insane. I might start it up just once for the
experience! (I know - I've lost it!)
