Hi Sven,
I would guess that with the main coils at that power, you should be
able to make a loop with several turns and place the scope probe
across this small loop, then bring it physically close enough to the
main power coils to inductively pickup the main coils waveform.
Enough at least to measure the frequency. Any RF or HAM gurus here to
jump in
with ideas...
