Yes. Gecko drives have somewhat different specs for the timing of the
direction signal relative to the step pulses. Apparently when turbocnc
changes direction, it may do that while the Gecko still needs to see the
direction from the last step. The only way to fix it outside of the
software is to add a flip-flop to hold the direction signal until the next
step pulse starts. It might fix the problem, however, if the polarity of
the step pulse were inverted.
