Hi John,
The resolution is not the issue, I just don't want to have to reconfigure
the driver since I will be sharing the Y axis driver with the A axis for the
time being. It is easy for me to change the step and direction signals for
this drive from Y to A but I don't want to have to change the settings on
the driver when I want to use the A axis. I plan on purchasing a fourth
drive soon so the problem goes away but I still can't get EMC to tread this
axis correctly. TurboCNC works fine, understands that each step is .0025
degrees and works great. EMC does not want to work at all with the axis set
for 400 steps per unit with units set to 1. I would prefer to use EMC but
there are times when TurboCNC just plain out performs EMC and this appears
to be one of them.
