Minimum CPU needed for EMC TNG

I picked up a BDI a while back and have had nothing but trouble getting
it to work, maybe a buggy version, probably lack of knowledge. I have
been playing with RH 7.1 and like the setup better than the RH that
comes on the BDI. The question is what is the CPU speed needed to run
the TNG? I have an AMD K6III-400 running to Geckos on a Wells-Index
mill. The mill is running at 20,000 steps per inch and 70+ inches per
minute. Is the CPU fast enough? I will upgrade if needed. EMC seems to
have everything I need. I really like the Yeager demo but no G41-42 so
it is very limited for me. TIA. Ed.
