I haven't had any problems with motor drivers, except smoke got out of a
output chip once. They repaired it on warrenty even though it was probably
out of date. Even sent me a loaner card. The cards BTW are made by Applied
Motion somewhere in CA, not themselves a Micro product.

How do you have a bearing problem in a properly mounted stepper or servo?
Not knocking anyone here but this sounds like bad mounting or summat that
puts on extra load. Mine will break cable-belts and shift things about that
are bolted down hard, but have had no bearing troubles.

How big? I'm running 450 and 600 oz in on mine. They are a bit on slow
side, but then they need more than 3.5 amps to run really fast.
