2.5 : 1 belt reduction. I'm limited by my DC power supply voltage. Sometime I
might turn it up, but whenever I start fooling around with the rapid feed, I end
up crashing the machine and breaking off end mills, etc. But, I get either 105 IPM
or 120 IPM, depending on how I set certain things. 120 was the design goal, so
I pretty much did what I wanted. For the smaller Bridgeports (9 x 32" table,
about 7 x 29" motion the way it is set up right now) this is plenty. Most of my
work is fairly small parts, so it is no constraint.
