Just a thought but I think it would work. My sister-in-law used to make
stained glass panels for fun and profit. It was many years ago but one of
her prized possessions was a diamond glass cutter and it was just a tiny
stone glued to a holder. You scribe the part shape and break away the waste.
I would think then that you could buy a cheap single stone grinding wheel
dresser and fit it into a spring loaded tap holder. It would cut in any
direction so the turning requirement would go away. You could set the down
pressure to give a nice score line and your mill could do the driving.
