Writing one is out of the question as the syntax is spaghetti, probably intentionally so. You would be dollars ahead to buy
Dolphin or Vector before spending money on a Mastercam post. The post will cost more than either of these packages. I
bought Bobcad (didn't know about the other two) and still use it for all 2D work because it's less trouble than Mastercam.

I have not loaded v8 yet (still learning v7 after three years) but some v7 posts may still work. I am using a Fadal post that
"sorta works" with cncpro. You should check the v8 CD for a post directory. They might still be shipping with some junk
posts.

The other alternative is to revert back to v7, whereupon I would be happy to send you a copy of my Fadal post. The
dongles are (at least they were) back compatable. CNC Software Inc gets upset if you load an older version but they
admit the license agreement does not prevent you from doing this.
