Speed - Parallel vs serial ( was Re: Motor

If I am correct, the proceedure is to put all negative motor wires on
the battery for the duration of the test.

toggle A+ on the battery. motor should twitch. GOOD.

hold A+ on the battery and now toggle B+ if it does not twitch, you
got a pair.

while holding A+ on the battery and all -'s, toggle C+ or D+ so you
would have one coil connected on the battery and testing the other
coils until you find another that does not twitch.

verify by testing the other coil pair.
ie: if A and C are found to be a pair. hold B+ and test with D+.
