The two power supplies have slightly different voltage settings. One
supply will always carry all the load, up to the maximum rating of
that supply, at which point it will current limit, anf the other supply will
start to carry the load. In your case, I suppose one supply is providing
2.5 A or so, whatever the current limit is actually set to, and the other
is maybe providing 1 A.
