Jon,
I can't answer your questions with technical answers and I can't
speak for Daves software as used in an actual enviroment as the only
TurboCNC setup I have is just a desktop setup, no motors or machine.
However I can say with certainty that all the low cost lathe
applications use this system quite sucessfully.
I have a Myford ML10 with the Connect 121 software that uses this and
it works. Denford, and Boxford also use this one pulse per rev, again
they work.
Full marks to Dave for putting this in his software. So far as I am
aware he's the only one to impliment this.
