Hummm. I have never had a problem exporting DXF to several of the
CAM programs when the objects in Corel 9 were actually closed. I
learned early on to select an object and try filling it with a
color. If it fills, it's closed, if not you have to use the node
edit tool, zoom in and find the beginning node and move it closer to
the end node. A lot of the clipart (Corel and others) have unclosed
objects (Polylines, etc). One thing I have found is that even on
closed object there can be issues. In one CAM program I have if the
path crosses over itself it won't allow you to define it for pocket
type operations. Corel dosen't care and will happly fill the object
(s) and go on. There is always some level of cleanup I have to do in
order to get perfect cut files.
