Hi Alex,
Plasma cutters are the most common for sheet metal, steel or
aluminim.
Lasers can be used but are very expensive.
Water is also a candidate, but the high pressure pump is also high
hoursepower and $$$ to run.
Each has a great benefit, and of course associated cost, but that is
the way with any tool.
