Hi Dave, that was with cncpro running on a 1gHz laptop. The maximum
speed setting I can get is 386.265 ipm. This results in a step
frequency of 64.9kHz mesured on a meter.
Somthing odd though. Maybe someone can clear this up for me as I havnt
had time to look into it.
I am using this setup:
360 line encoders resulting in 1440 ppr, 2:1 belt reduction to get
2880 ppr, and a 10 tpi leadscrew so that is 28800 pulses per inch. So
my 64.9kHz step frequency should get me about 135 ipm which it is. So
why does CNCpro tell me I am moving at 386.265 ipm?
