gecko questions

Morning all!,
I am upgrading my transformer to a much bigger one and just want to
run by you experts some questions! i have been running gecko 201's
on my old transformer(18 vac/26vdc)with I suspect was not setup
efficiently. I have now got a multi tapped large transformer which I
am going to use (34 v ac/47.6v dc). my motors are 34 Vexta 4.5
amp .047 ohms ( 2 volt?) 8 wire series connected running three axis.
Can some one reassure me on
a: the current set resistor value ,thinking 22k ?.
b:the capacitor rating for the power supply ( i have read the white
paper and still not sure)thinking 80 volt 80000mfd ?
please help so i can go buy the bits as I want to do this correctly
this time ( it worked fine last time but could it have been better?)
