Mark,

Each controller can do thing a little differently to achieve the same
results. The G code must match the requirements of the controller.

A good example is the Multicam router. If you look at the G code, you will
find that a down Z axis move will be a positive number where you would
expect a negative number.

This is all part of the Post process. A post can get very involved.
