Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] CAD/CAM questions

Hi Larry, Chris,

That's all true! I was going to buy BobCad, but "evaluating" it for a
considerable time (without a manual) wasn't too successful. I called
Fred, and he recommended Vector CAD/CAM over BobCad, a good price, and a
guarantee. I ordered Vector, and after following the tutorials in a
MANUAL for perhaps half a day, was able to draw plenty of 2D, and was
beginning to understand 3D as well (although I didn't need it
initially). My previous CAD experience was with P-CAD from '85, then on
to CadVance (architectural). I never did get serious about learning
AutoCad, which was a POOR competitor to P-CAD initially... You know who
the "leader" is now. I also picked up a free package or two; TurboCad,
IntelliCad, etc., and even used Orcad Capture (schematics) for doing DXF
files for a while before getting Vector.

I believe if you preserver, DO the tutorials, and get on Fred's forum
(ask questions!), you'll SOON be productive in using Vector CAD/CAM!
Just ask Dan S.!
