It's a lot of money for sure. In fact enough ballscrew stock
with 2 preloaded nuts can be had from HIWIN for about
half that price.

But the kit has the 4 ballscrew ends machined as well as the bracket.
This is very expensive to have done. You can machine your own
if you have the equipment to do it (see my post in the archives
with step-by-step instructions) but it takes a good while and a
mistake can make some very expensive scrap steel.
For these size screws you need a good lathe with headstock
bored out to larger than one inch. A tool post grinder helps a bunch
but is not required.
