These were used in the sign industry years ago before the new large format
vynil printers came out. They had four small spray heads mounted in the
carrage and printed like an inkjet in dots. They were capable of painting
huge billboards that were very detailed. Pictures
are probably in the archives of "sign of the times" magazine.
