A neat solution !

There's probably no need to wait - old laser printers and copiers can
usually be picked up very cheaply at auctions. Admittedly the failing
roller surface or fuser lamp is often the reason they're junked, but
there are still plenty of acceptable ones to be found.

I bought a laserjet 1 for UKP5 just for the paper tray (which fits my
Canon PC20 photocopier) and got a working fuser lamp as a bonus.
