Hi,

I went there, spent a lot of time trying and then gave up and moved back to
5.2! There are bugs in the 2.2.* version of EMC and it doesn't seem likely
that Fred will put a lot of work into sorting it until he has the version
for 5.2 running properly. Don't forget we aren't the primary focus of his
work and his agenda calls for him to get one version up and running properly
so he probably can't find the time to get sidelined onto working on another
kernel version. By the time EMC for 5.2 is finished linux will probably have
moved on to version 2.3.* (which already exists) or even 2.4.*.
