Yes, thanks to the patience of everyone here I get it now. Tonight I
ordered a xylotex 3 axis DRIVER board, I am going to use software so
my PC acts as a CONTROLLER. Ha! I had to use these in a sentence
somewhere to sink them in. I may use a separate controller later, but
for now I got a couple of steppers with ball screws and little tables
attached to play with (from eBay). My immediate aim is to get them to
move simultaneously here on my desktop, meantime I'm dreaming up a
low-cost lathe project.


BTW - there's a folder in the Photos section called "Homebrew CNC
Lathe". Whoever made that, it's absolutely beautiful. Nice work!
