You might want to add that Sherline's coupling kit also adds some thrust
bearings at the coupling which can help reduce backlash.

|The factory Sherline CNC upgrade does not have ball screws. If you have
|found a ball screw set for the Sherlines I would love to have the info
|on it. What the factory set does do is replace the longitudinal feed
|screw on the lathe and the Z axis screw on the mill with another one
|that has the exact same thread, but the end is machined different to
|connect to the motor couplers.
