Jon's routines along with several additional ones are currently available
with any of the BDI releases. They are called CP1 and this program
stores the variable values used to write the g-code as a set of xml
comments within the g-code itself. If the saved file is recalled, the
geometric values can be changed and the code will be changed to reflect
the new values.
It would be an easy matter to submit the code directly from CP1 to a
running emc as some sort of crude high level programming interface.
