I'm not an expert in 'bonding agents' (glue to you and me) but I know from
experience that the epoxy has to get hot - and you want the servo to be
solid before you run it. Once the epoxy sets up it does not 'melt' when it
gets that hot the second time. Plastics that melt when they get hot are
called thermoplastic. Don't use a thermoplastic, it will melt every time it
gets hot, or maybe even warm, depending on the type.
I have glued gears onto hubs successfully if you get them hot. Sometimes a
heat lamp will do it if you leave it on for several hours.
Good luck.
