hm..
first of all, i would check the friction on all axis in with a
dynamometer to verify theres no variations.
whats the weight/mass of the pinion? it must be included the
calculation. have you verified that the voltage/current is enough
under run, hook a meter and check, ive noticed several pwsups that
didnt put out what they was rated.

and 20 other parameters.....
