Happy NewYear,
Today I did some rechecking for binding, missalignments, voltage
measurements,ect.. All I could find was when I spin the motors by hand
(wires disconnected) they spin ok at slow speeds. I can feel the fine
detents in the motor and it spins easly. But when I spin it fast it
binds up, hard to turn and the detents are very pronounced. They will
stay this way unless I let them sit for 1-2 min. or ground all motor
wires together. Is this normal? I think that I am building a charge
in the winding coils and this is causing the binding feeling-yes-no?
If this is the case, could I be building a charge in the unused coils
of the motors while running them? So far I cannot think of any other
thing to try except buy bigger motors and try them. I sure would like
to feel or know that bigger motors would be my cure before ordering.
Any thought or advise on this would be appreciated.
Thanx,
MONTY
