I thoughtthe pics of the flame were cool...er.. HOT !

For home brew, slow cutting rates are not as important as cost and
accuracy and maybe thickness.

The harbor freight lists more than a few spare parts so I assume they
are the consumables.

Since it does not have surplus oxygen, it is not torching metal off
like an acetelen torch, it appears that is just melting, which means
a water bath under or concrete floor.

On the surface, it would appear that torch height adjustment would be
a piece of cake. and not an active element in cutting metals.

I wonder if it can start a hole ? if starting a hole reduced
consumables life ?

With an anode and cathode I would assume there is some adjustment and
probably not an arc.

Cetting depth to 10mm is good for a home shop.

water feed would also be an issue. all the water is contained in the
handle(head) Assuming it is under pressure, feed water would be
needed, means a sensor and valve.

Operational cost is an odd thing. 2.5kW for a 1 mm bit is pretty
high energy for the tiny hole, but is cheap for slicing metal.

It seems that it is made in Russia, so we are probably only looking
at importers so far.

It'll be interesting to watch this technology.
