Once I get all the foofie stuff I don't need torn out of this linux/EMC install I have a feeling the 200MHz PC will run circles around my manual mini-milling capability. ?
When I'm running a 5GHz machine on my desk, then maybe I'll put the 1.4 Athlon I'm running now in the shop, and save time and mess by simply putting the 200MHz machine out with the trash.
I've already had my fun with 12 pound sledges and hard drives. One time, it wasn't even an "old" hard drive. One time I ripped apart a Western Digital that kept losing stuff off the end and took a torch to the platters. Gave the result to the owner of the shop and he hung it on the wall. Yeah, those were the days.
See how we respect the tools that further us along. Humans are really so compassionate.
