Well you can put me down for 3D Studio MAX from the same parent
company as Autocad.

Although it's probably a bit overkill for most folks here, we use
this all the time for 3D design, visualisation and animation, but
also to create and output the toolpaths from our designs.

Autodesk VIZ share's the same core and is far cheaper;

and GMAX is free, but a bit limited:
