Hi,
Mono LCDs are just not in demand, so either someone would be dumping
oddball ones as surplus, or they would be specialized and pricey.
Also with the surplus ones, or those removed from laptops, you may
need to get a pricey LCD video card to drive it.
A $199 15inch is a bargain right now and it would take standard
(S)VGA drive from standard card.
