I bought a DRO once with the "bolt hole" feature.
When I set it up to try it out, I found I had been HAD.
No where did they state the included feature was a fixed number of bolt hole
combinations. Naturally, the first time I needed it, the number I wanted was
not included. So BEWARE of the sales pitch.
What this does is very useful. Pick a center point, zero the DRO, set up the
bolt hole function and then pace off the indicated coordinates one by one machining
each point in turn as needed. This is for manual machining only, of course.
