Thanks for the info.
About background counters to compensate for errors ! All the features I'm adding that one is not going to happen.
In other words if the user wants to do a bolt hole pattern he/she will have to make more effort to be accurate.
I do plan to allow the user to enter the Bolt Hole pattern (or any pattern) by using Hyperterm and uploading a
simple ASCII file of the coordinates. Doing interactive menu's eats up ROM and ram do this feature may be the only
way to enter bolt hole data. It does allow the user to double check all data in the ASCII file before sending and
then avoids data entry errors which I suspect will happen if someone is entering 20 sets of X,Y coords. by hand.
Speed: That was my opinion also. I'm not going to try for 30 inches per second it's overkill.
