Hi Fred,
I was thinking of having an additional "transmission" type, that of
worm. I'm using a 72:1 worm, (Sherline rotary table).
200 steps, 1/2 step, 72:1 worm, 360 degrees == 0.0125 deg/step. There
is no additional belt reduction.
I incorporated these calculations in the controller program I wrote.
