Feedback on Free stepper calculator

on 2003-02-21 16:37:33 UTC
Did anybody get a chance to check the calculations on the rack and
pinion and pulley ratio calculations on the free stepper motor
calculator? At least in inches? Please let me know if there are any
errors. The calculator calculates linear output distances in
steps/in, inches/step, steps/mm, mm/step, simultaneously based on
stepper motor steps, micro stepping is included, and the calculations
for direct drive, rack and pinion, belt drive ratios/units and
combinations are also included. It also has an inches per minute and
steps per second cross calculator for calculating things like max
velocity in steps based on inches per minute. The whole calculation
data set can be copied to clipboard and printed with notepad.
Windows freeware.
