Re: Parts cutout technique?

I've seen one shop doing wind tunnel models, machining wing sections
from both sides of the stock. They would leave a thin rib of
material holding the part in place, never actually cutting the part
totally out of the stock. They would just pop it out by hand and had
finish the thin rib of material left over around the edges.
