No, you want the g-code without any pause. The rapid reversal forces a
follow error which is what you want.

I used the machine I was running them on as the load. Just be careful as
rapidly reversing the table on a mill can lead the mill to start rocking
and fall over if done just right.

Pretty much you are looking for the ability to do a rapid reversal at
the highest speed possible without causing a fault or an osillation. If
the gain and dampening is too low you fault out all the time when the
feed reverses. If the gain is too high you get buzzing and osillation
when it reverses and buzzing at rest.
