This is one project I hope to attempt in the summer. I gave it a
quick try last summer, but had a tough time figuring out
the "protocol" for these things but the files located on this site
are the cat's ass. It should be "easy" now. A micro is the only/best
way to get it going. Another PIC could be used as the 7 seg
driver/latch. The code in the files is for display on a PC which
involves ASCII conversion serial transfer etc. It should be a tad
easier using HEX and dumping it on the 7 seg displays. Wait and see.
