What you want depends on if you are scrounging or buying.

First, they are called enclosures, and the electrical industry is
source. you should be able to get what you want at your local
electrical supply house.

if you are more into scrounging, call your local home alarm company,
tell them you are a home hobbiest and was wondering if they would
mind letting you take there old panels. I got 10 boxes, from 8x10 to
24x36, some with windows.

and another place is a used computer box. you can disassembel teh
power supply and cut off the bracket and presto, you have a fan and
plug connector, and room for a fuse.
