Guys,
There's a place here in the L.A. area with a couple of walk-in stores
and a web site, www.allcorp.com. A few weeks ago, I was looking for an
enclosure to house a fair sized transformer, a 5V. power supply and a
Xylotex 3-axis driver, plus a fan. Most of the stuff in other electronics
stores were too small, and the stuff on the net was pretty expensive. I
found one at All Electronics here in Koreatown, ideal size, commercial duty,
with perforated ends to mount fans on, for $3.00. Sometimes you have to
search a little. In addition, coming from this great find, I discovered an
audio electronics supplier, who had the slickest 4-conductor panel mount
jacks & plug, for connecting motor cables to my drivers.
