Actually, I doubt their dumpster would have any good
stuff in it. The manufacturer of the product rarely
throws it away. If it's good, they sell it. If it's
bad, they either crush it or recycle it. You are more
likely to find usable electrical enclosures at an
industrial surplus dealer, or at an industrial site
that is being demolished, or in the dumpster of an
industrial electrical contractor. You might find some
at the manufacturer's sales office, if it's far from
the plant - they might be samples or demos that are
no longer needed and aren't worth returning to inventory.
