The .iso file is an ISO image of a bootable CDROM. You'll need to use a
software package to burn the image to a CD so that you can boot and
install Linux and EMC on a computer. I use "Nero Burning ROM" but most
CD burning software will do the trick.

Look for "Burn Image" or similar in the menus of your particular CD
burning software package.
