Eric,

The problem that you will have is that small machines like my Denford
ORAC and your Sherline don't have the power to run negative rake
inserts - and as most of industry is using negative rake tooling you
have a significantly reduced selection in positive rake. There are
some negative rake inserts that have a chip breaker groove that
presents a 'quasi positive' rake angle - maybe that's the sort of
thing that you should look for.

No point in my suggesting suppliers to you as you are the wrong side
of the big pond !
