Re: Tool holders- MULTIFIX for lathe

Thank you for all who replied to my thread,

Regarding the MULTIFIX tool holders, they come with a wide variety of
inserts for holding different types of tools, so I need not to worry about
finding the right insert for my tools.
The two tool holders are mounted one on the front and one on the back of the
cross slide.
As far as the servos, I'm still trying to get their specs., problem is that
they come in German. But I won't mind changing the motors if they would
cause a problem.
Well, as far as the machine condition, it's in a very good shape, I need
that because I'll be machining steel and cast iron most of the times.
I'm not familiar with a certain controller yet, so I'm willing to buy and
learn to use the controller that matches my requirements, which are:
suitable for lathe( of course), capable of threading, can configure two tool
posts, be able to control an inverter for control of spindle speed.
Any suggestions are most welcomed.
