I had such a program written about 5 years ago. It was meant to simply
"Write to a Text file" , X,Y,Z and a fourth axis AS you move, or only
when you tap a switch.

It was to be used on a home made "digitizer". If you took some encoders
and got them on some free moving axis, It might work. I do not know, I
never used it yet !

The source code is there.... I think it was made to use a board like the
Kulaga ( Is that correct ?) board, or something from Mauch..... Anyone
willing to play with it is welcome. Just drop me a line offlist. I'll
get it to you !
