Yes Randy I do have a couple of tons of EDM machine in my home
workshop. It's a Eurospark H425 die sinking machine intended (as you
might expect!) for making dies for mouldings. Doesn't get used very
often but is superb when the need arises. Some recent applications:

a/ enlarging the centre hole in some carbide inserts to fit a boring
bar

b/ making a square collet for my t&c grinder

c/ cutting a square hole for a vice handle

d/ removing a broken 7ba tap from a friends model

e/ cutting new holes in machine hacksaw blades that were too long

f/ cutting a drawbar hole through an R8 to MT2 hardened adaptor

Needless to say the word gets round with fellow home workshop types,
and the broken taps and stuck roll pins roll in !
