Hi Randy,

I have been working on a plunge for removing bolts and for
penetrating the hard case layer of precision shafting. My main
purpose is to put a hole on the angle of my lathe's ways. the ways
are hardened and the angle makes it impossible for my to do the hole
with a cheap drill press without some speical jig

(noboby burst my bubble please as the hole is one of the strong
reasons for getting the EDM)

also, I am thinking of a wire EDM to do automotive rear spline
gears. my neighbor does car work and does custom rears for guys who
are tricking out their cars. ATCO Dragway is 45 minutes away so
there are lots of guys who want that sort of thing.

There are lots of other uses, keyway slots in a shaft if you don't
have a mill or keyways inside if you don't have a press.
